Former Head of UK Intelligence Agency, Sir Jeremy Fleming Joins SandboxAQ as Senior Advisor

We are pleased to announce that Sir Jeremy Fleming, former Director of Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ) – the UK cyber and signals intelligence agency – has joined SandboxAQ as a Senior Advisor. As one of the UK’s leading cyber experts, Sir Jeremy brings a deep understanding of the global online security landscape and the rapidly evolving threats facing governments, critical infrastructure and businesses. His experience will be invaluable to roadmap of SandboxAQ’s AQtive Guard platform.

In addition to overseeing GCHQ’s response to various terror and cyberattacks, Sir Jeremy oversaw the establishment of the UK’s National Cyber Security Centre, which focuses on cyber threats to the national infrastructure. 

Prior to leading GCHQ, Sir Jeremy served for over 25 years in MI5 gaining experience countering the full spectrum of national security threats.  As Deputy Director-General of MI5, he led the Agency’s operational and investigative work and earlier played a key role revamping the UK’s counter-terrorism strategy. Having left his mark on the UK’s intelligence services with innovative strategies and forward-looking leadership, Sir Jeremy has become a sought-after advisor.  Now he brings his invaluable cybersecurity expertise and perspective on geopolitical, economic and societal factors to SandboxAQ.
